Fitting Instructions for CANMORE® Pipe Bags
Connecting the stocks to the CANMORE® Hybrid Pipe Bag
Starting with the bass drone stock, smear a little washing-up liquid on the inside of the collar. Feed the drone stock through the zipper opening and push the stock through the collar to the desired depth using a series of short sharp movements. Repeat this procedure with the remaining drone stocks and blow-pipe stock.
Place the ‘O’ ring supplied into the groove of the chanter stock. Push the chanter stock through the zip opening and into position within the neck. Then position the Jubilee Clip provided over the fabric and ‘O’ ring and tighten, ensuring not to over tighten. The top of each collar should then be wrapped with the bonding tape supplied.
Finally using the lubricant provided, squeeze a small amount onto your finger and apply along the length of the zip, open and close the zip 2 or 3 times and remove any excess, this will lubricate and seal the zip.
Connecting the stocks to the CANMORE® Synthetic Pipe Bags
Starting with the bass drone stock, smear a little washing-up liquid on the inside of the collar. Feed the drone stock through the opening and push the stock through the collar to the desired depth using a series of short sharp movements. Repeat this procedure with the remaining drone stocks and blow-pipe stock.
Finally, tie-in the chanter stock in the usual manner using twine. For additional security, the top of each collar should be wrapped with the bonding tape supplied.
If your bag has a zip fitted, using the lubricant provided, squeeze a small amount onto your finger and apply along the length of the zip, open and close the zip 2 or 3 times and remove any excess, this will lubricate and seal the zip.
